Skills registry & marketplace

Give your team
skills worth reusing.

Bring reusable instructions into a company library. Assign the skills each agent needs, let agents find local methods for new tasks, and keep public discovery and imports in operator hands.

One place to manage reusable methods

Build the library.
Choose who can use it.

Start with a public source

As operator, browse the shared marketplace, choose a fixed capability for GitHub or configured Brave Search, or add a public repository, folder or HTTPS SKILL.md URL. Inspect the instructions, references, source and license before installing a version.

The marketplace shares public source listings across companies in your installation. Imported snapshots and assignments belong to each company. Adding a source does not publish your company’s library.

Assign a version with purpose

Give a skill to one agent, everyone in a role, a particular project or the whole company. Assignments keep their exact version when the upstream source changes, so an update is something you can review.

For example, assign a writing method to your content team and a project-specific review method to the agents working on that project.

RAG for reusable skills

Find the method
the task calls for.

Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) helps agents find relevant assigned skills and imported candidates in their company registry. This search is local: an employee cannot turn its query into an Internet request. Agents activate an assigned version or request an exact candidate, then read supporting references on demand.

This lets a team keep a growing library while bringing selected instructions into each task. Every activation records which agent used which version.

How retrieval works

PostgreSQL full-text search matches skill names, descriptions, instructions and references. Company and assignment access filter the results before ranking. This is lexical retrieval; no separate vector database or embedding service is required.

Operator-controlled public discovery

Find public methods.
Keep prompts private.

Only an operator can start an Internet search or source import. Choose from fixed capability categories, inspect the results and decide which exact snapshots enter the company registry.

  1. Search the company library

The agent starts with installed skills available to its role, its own assignments and the current project. Retrieval helps it find guidance relevant to the task.

  2. Discover public sources as operator

Choose a fixed capability and search public GitHub or configured Brave Search, or add a known repository or skill URL. The server never puts task or company text into the query.

  3. Apply your installation policy

Eligible versions can be installed automatically. A version that needs your decision becomes an installation request tied to the task and its exact snapshot.

  4. Use the skill and keep the record

The agent activates an assigned version, reads its complete instructions and loads supporting references as needed. The run records the version used.

GitHub discovery works without a search key, subject to its rate limits. Broader web discovery needs a configured Brave Search key. The server maps the operator’s capability choice to fixed generic query text; company, client, task, URL and secret text never enters the provider query. Employee and model runs receive no Internet discovery or source-import tool.

Your rules for adoption

Choose how much
the team can install.

Default

Review each install

Keep automatic installation off. Agents can request a skill, and you decide whether to install and assign that exact version.

Trusted sources

Choose the publishers

Let agents with installation permission adopt compatible versions only from sources you have explicitly enabled and trusted.

When a task is waiting for your decision, approval installs the requested snapshot, assigns it to the requester and returns that task attempt to the queue. Installation never adds tool or account permissions.

Keep control as the library grows

Know what changed.
Know what was used.

Review imported candidates, installation requests, assignments and recorded activity in the Skills workspace. Remove an assignment or disable a source or version to stop future retrieval and activation. Saved versions and usage history remain available.

Skills supply instructions and reference material. Your company procedures, tool permissions and review requirements continue to govern the work. Imported scripts are saved as text; execution requires separately authorized tools.

Source imports currently support public GitHub and HTTPS text packages. Private authenticated repositories and unsupported binary resources are not included.
